We intend to bring the history to you and your children as often as we can manage, via events involving speakers and exhibitions plus the Dunchideock History Society's database accessed by Members only. There will be various events each year with speakers and sharing the exhibition with you as often as is feasible. Children's history activities too! |

May 12th Sunday 2.30pm Event: Christow Railway. Hosted by Colin Burgess.
Venue: Exeter & Teign Valley Railway, Christow Station EX6 7YT A visit for children-with-parents/guardians and adults to the Teign Valley Railway at Christow Station (www.teignrail.co.uk). We will be hosted by Colin Burgess, have trips in the carriages, and much more. 4pm Refreshments. PLEASE BOOK ASAP IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING.
Meeting Place Directions: From the Teign House Inn, Teign Valley Road, facing towards Exeter, drive a few yards then take the first lane on the right - drive to the end where some parking is available. It would be great if we could Car Share on this occasion, so if you’re willing, please let me know: how many spare places you have in your car; or do you (plus ?others) need a lift; or are you willing to drive your car to someone nearby who will Car Share with you? BOOK IN ADVANCE – Maximum of 20 people: Come along and explore the garden and lake area plus the ground floor of Dunchideock House with Peter Goodchild as he shares the fascinating history of the gardens and House.
